ABOUT THE TEAM You'll join our specialised Partner Tech Team - a small but highly skilled backend team within BESTSELLER E-commerce. Together, we design and develop the data services and integrations that enable our brands to grow across marketplaces. We work closely with brand and business specialists to translate commercial needs into robust technical solutions, ensuring that data flows efficiently across platforms and systems. YOUR ROLE As Data Engineer, your main responsibility is to design, build, and maintain the pipelines and infrastructure that ensure smooth and reliable data flow across BESTSELLER's systems to support our marketplace business. You'll work with modern cloud technologies and streaming frameworks to create scalable, automated, and high-performing data solutions. Your key responsibilities will include: Developing and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows to support integrations across platforms. Managing and optimising data storage and transformation in Snowflake, Kafka, and other cloud environments. Ensuring data integrity, reliability, and security in both batch and real-time pipelines. Collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and developers to enable scalable and automated data processes. Using SQL and Python for pipeline development, testing, and monitoring. Setting up and maintaining Git-based CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery. Proactively monitoring system performance and troubleshooting potential issues. WHY JOIN US? We imagine you bring: Experience with SQL, Python, and DBT for data workflows. Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS) and modern data architectures. YOUR NEW ROLE As our new Frontend Developer, you will shape and enhance the user experience across our digital platforms, ensuring that everything we build feels fast, intuitive, and brand aligned. In your daily work, you'll: Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Backend Developers, and Design to scope, define, and implement new features and improvements. Develop, maintain, and optimise our web applications and online stores, ensuring performance and usability across devices. Build and implement new layouts, components, and design updates in line with brand identity and UX principles. Support the creation of new digital experiences, from concept to deployment. Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly, learning from them to strengthen our solutions going forward. Work with the newest technologies WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT You have a few years of experience and thrive in a setup with a lot of freedom to solve your own tasks. Solid understanding of CSS and modern styling patterns, including responsive design and utility-first frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
